Located at the foothills of the Aravalli range in Manesar in Haryana, the National Brain Research Centre is the only institute in India dedicated to neuroscience research and education and explores issues as diverse as Alzheimer’s disease to learning exercises for school children. The first phase of the facility consists of administration offices, laboratories, scientist rooms, seminar rooms, a library, a canteen and other utilities. Continuing his underlying school of thought, Raj Rewal ties in principles of context, programme and objectives, and creates a compact but fluid design for the autonomous organisation funded by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India.
